Since 2005 Yen Robinson has been developing this range of porcelain lighting, designed especially for low energy use, that fuses her love of clay with a life long fascination for the diverse forms that abound in our natural world.
The translucent porcelain captures with extraordinary detail the tracery left by impressed flowers and leaves. Abstract designs, quiet and contemporary when unlit, come alive when illuminated.
Utilising this special combination of qualities Yen designs and makes these lights in small batches at her studio on the Welsh borders; with all other components sourced locally.
Abstract designs are available all the year around, the plant lights are made in response to the changing seasons: hellebores in the spring, alliums in high summer.
Ideal for domestic interiors, both contemporary and traditional, the lights give a warm and welcoming focal point that will enhance any room.
All Yen's lights are designed for use with low energy bulbs, comply with current safety standards and are approved by The Lighting Association.
