Brian Holland is a sculptural ceramic artist offering art with two intertwined threads: landscape and the human figure.
Brian’s coil-built figures – large and small scale - are a response to the spatial relationships between people in contemporary dance, music and even social gatherings.
Brian’s paper-clay sculptures are inspired by landscape. Personal responses to place confirm our humanity and our individuality. Much of his past studio work has been exploring the processes of erosion and renewal that shape landscapes.
