Ceelok has been licensed (2004) under the Secured by Design initiative managed and promoted by the Association of Chief Police Officers and backed by the Home Office Crime Reduction Unit. Ceelok is actually stronger than sophisticated and expensive locks, bolts or door chains.
- Installed in minutes using only a screw-driver.
- Fits both left and right hand opening doors.
- Quick to operate in an emergency.
- Suitable for those with limited mobility - simple large D-Loop mechanism can be easily operated with the palm or side of the hand as with the fingers.
- Anti slide-back pin prevents any movement of the bolt resulting from vibration or an accidental knock.
- Ceelok's locking plate secures to the INSIDE of the frame - so when the door is closed the screwheads are sealed by the door itself, making it virtually impossible to force them out.
