Art Glass By Design is owned by Tamasine Pritchard who is based in Frome, a bustling market town in the heart of Somerset, with a lively arts and crafts   community.

In 1990 Tamasine learnt the basic design and construction of a simple leaded panel and since then has been entirely self taught. With her love for the  miracle of art glass and its many vibrant textures and colours she has turned a hobby into a thriving full-time career.

15 years experience designing and fabricating leaded panels, copper foiling and her own unique gluing technique, enables Tamasine to provide quality bespoke originals. Styles range from traditional Victorian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, through to cutting edge contemporary works, bringing affordable, practical living art into the home, work and play environments.  Designs include windows, doors, lamps, furniture, garden jewellery and wall-mounted light boxes.

When undertaking commissioned work Tamasines’ philosophy is to create a harmony between the individual’s personality, style and the chosen environment with her own unique design talents. This involves an organic    process based on a close working customer relationship.
