HISTORY, EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES
95% Danish was started in 2004 by Kim Dohm born out of a passion for Danish design.
Kim was brought up in London by Danish parents and
studied graphic design at Croydon School of Art. He later joined
Conran Design Group and worked on retail design projects for
Mothercare, Habitat, BhS and Heals before moving on to set up
his own design agency - DOHM. It is this unique background in
both British and Danish design that made 95% Danish almost
inevitable.
"Whenever I go back to see family in Denmark, I see great design
and meet with great designers and I can instantly see where and
how they can fit into the UK market".
Kim's ethos for 95% Danish is very simple - "We aim to bring the
very best Danish lifestyle products to a discerning design
conscious consumer in the UK. Just to be Scandinavian or Danish
is not enough. There are many other considerations, usability,
construction, lifestyle, attitude and price. It is about all of
these things."
